Securing yield optimization for a Columbian Rose

Yield optimization using Hotraco Horti's automization

Preceding this project, Hotraco Horti has initiated an academic study at this facility to investigate the effects of our systems on different parameters of rose cultivation. The results show that the implementation of Hotraco Systems resulted in:

  • Increase in productivity (stems/m2);
  • Increase in stem length (cm/stem);
  • Increase in the exportable produce volume (%/total production);
  • Reduction of production losses (%/total production);
  • Stabilized frequency of variation in the natural day temperature delta (Δ°C/natural day);
  • Stabilized frequency of variation in the natural day relative humidity delta (ΔRH%/natural day).
